West Los Angeles
Minimally Invasive Veterinary Surgery for West LA Companion Animal Families
West Los Angeles families don't need to drive deep into the city for advanced surgery. From Sawtelle, Westwood, Palms, Rancho Park and Mar Vista, our Santa Monica clinic is a short trip west — and that short trip buys your dog or cat a far gentler experience. Dr. Antonio Pedraza performs laparoscopy, endoscopy and arthroscopy through tiny keyhole incisions instead of one large opening, which usually means less pain, less bleeding and a quicker return to normal life.
Getting here from West LA
We're at 2116 Main Street in Santa Monica's Ocean Park neighborhood. Two easy routes:
Via the I-10 (Santa Monica Fwy)
Take the I-10 West to the 4th/5th Street exit in Santa Monica, head south to Pico or Ocean Park Blvd, then turn onto Main Street. We're on the right just past Ocean Park Blvd — usually 12–18 minutes from the Westwood/Sawtelle area.
Via surface streets (Pico or Olympic)
Prefer to avoid the freeway? Pico Blvd or Olympic Blvd run straight west into Santa Monica; turn south toward Main Street. This is often the calmer route for nervous companion animals during busy hours.
When you arrive, park in the lot behind the clinic or at a metered space on Main Street — no parking structure to navigate.
Procedures West LA families travel for
Many West LA households come specifically because their general practice doesn't offer keyhole surgery in-house. The most common reasons are a laparoscopic spay, diagnostic endoscopy for a swallowed object or chronic GI issue, joint arthroscopy, and precise laser and energy procedures.
